Summer Camp 2016
8 days Summer Camp was organised at Mamta Mandir Campus during 22 to 29 April 2016.
Total 230 students had participated in the camp. various faculty was hired for the curricular and co-curricular activities. it was wonderful opportunity for the students to show their inner talent. this activity was recognized by the students and teachers and requested to organized at least once in a year. Yoga, Craft, Games and watching comedy mime movies like Charlie Chaplin, Mr. Bean was selected as a part of Co-curricular activities. English & Gujarati Grammar, Handwriting Improvement, Maths solutions was selected as a part of curricular activities. overall experience was wonderful and objective of "FUN & LEARNING" was achieved through this camp.
On 86th birth anniversary of visionary founder of Manav Kalyan Trust, Late Shri Maheshbhai Kothari, his family members, organizing committee members, the staff and children of Mamta Mandir (Navsari) and Pragna Mandir (Shivarimal, Dang) prayed and conveyed him heartfelt greetings. The devotion of Maheshbhai for disabled children was remembered by all and prayed for the divine soul to attain eternal peace.
Manav Kalyan Trust, Mamta Mandir, Navsari and Pragna Mandir, Shivarimal, Dang campuses celebrated the 67th Republic day.
Flag hosting was performed by Late Shri Maheshbhai Kothari’s friend, donor of the trust and well wisher, Shri Manharlal Shantilal Shah (Manu Dada) from UK. On this occasion, Manu Dada celebrated the national festival by remembering the memories with Late shri Maheshbhai and distributed sweets and chocolates to the children.
At Pragna Mandir, Shivarimal, Dang Shri Pareshbhai Tank, president of Helping Hand Charitable Trust, Ankleshwar had performed flag hosting. Shri Anilbhai and Nishitbhai (C.A.) from Mumbai, were invited as guests of the event. The children organized a rally prior to the flag hosting. Various games were organized for children after the program of flag hosting. The event was concluded by distribution of prizes and chocolates after the games.
Thus the Republic day was celebrated at grand level in both the campuses of Manav Kalyan Trust.
Manav Kalyan Trust and District Department of Sports, Navsari jointly organized a Special Khel Mahakumbh – 2016 for mentally challenged children. The event was held at Sir C J N Z Madresa High School, Navsari on 24th and 25th January, 2016. Different events such as Athletics, Bochi, Basketball, Cycling, etc. were clapped and initiated by the vice President of Manav Kalyan Trust, Shri Ghanshyambhai Patel, Secretary Shri Viratbhai Kothari and Department of Sports Officer, Navsari district, Shri Valvi. Total 315 children participated from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan, Navsari district, Nirman Special School, Vasda and Mamta Mandir, Navsari. Among which 205 children were from Mamta Mandir, Navsari.
